True Americans should'nt have to give up their personal freedoms during war. If they really love their country, they should be willing to give up some freedoms, such as, their freedom of speech. The sedition act says that it's illegal to say or publish negative things about the government, true Americans shouldn't be saying negative things about the government. Americans should also understand that the troops over seas needed food and water just as much as the people living in America, so the food and fuel act was a good thing to an extent.
